National Investigation Agency invites applications for the following posts of Deputy Superintendent, Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, ASIs, Head Constables and Constables in NIA on deputation basis
Deputy Superintendent of Police:
Eligibility:
  • holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or
  • with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • Three years experience in Investigation of Criminal cases/Intelligence gathering.
Inspector
Eligibility:
  • holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or
  • with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • Three years experience in Investigation of Criminal cases/Intelligence gathering.
Sub-Inspector
Eligibility:
  • holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or
  • with six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2800 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
  • Two years experience in Investigation of Criminal cases/Intelligence gathering.
Assistant Sub-Inspector
Eligibility:
  • Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or
  • Head Constable in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of rs. 2400/- with five years of service in the grade in the State or Central Police Organization
Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
  • At least two years experience in the field of Investigation of Criminal cases/Intelligence work or Information Technology management
